Zakharova (Yanovskaya) Ekaterina Anatolyevna (13.09.1978, Sochi) is a teacher on the class of piano, improvisation, ensemble, a laureate of the All-Russian Contest of Young Jazz Performers (2003).

In 1997 she graduated from the Sochi College of Arts on the class of piano, in 2002 – from the Variety and Jazz Music Department of S. V. Rachmaninoff RSC (Academy) on the class of piano.

She has been teaching since 1994 (Adler CMS, Sochi).

She has been working in the school since 2000. She is the author of a number of jazz plays and arrangements. She is an administrator of “Multy-Jazz Quintet” jazz ensemble which is an unfailing participant of Glasgow international jazz festivals (Scotland, 2005-2008), and a winner of the international contests:

  • I Degree laureate of the VI International Children’s Contest in Saint Petersburg (2005),
  • I Degree laureate of the International Jazz Festival “Atlas – M” in Kiev (2005),
  • I Degree laureate of the VIII International in Odessa (2006),
  • I Degree laureate of the I Regional Television Contest “SFD on CD” Rostov-on-Don (2006).

In 2007 she was awarded the Prize of Head of Administration (Governor) of Rostov region.
